 The
Forest is an ideal venue for a birthday or wedding party, exhibition or musical
event using the barn which forms one side of the courtyard
with the cottages. The barn offers a large enclosed space
12m x 7m which can be used as a dining area, exhibition room
or rustic function room with large doors which open out onto
the courtyard
Up to about 60 guests can be accommodated. Parties ideally
held in low and mid season periods or spring and autumn.
The courtyard itself is the perfect place for party guests
and visitors to wander and relax, or even enjoy some live
music. The gardens can provide the perfect setting for
pictures with the bride and groom.
The barn is an informal venue and can be decorated in any way
required. It can be dressed with colourful fabrics and
flowers and set up with tables and chairs for tea or buffet
lunch such as a hog roast.
Above the stables to the side of the courtyard is the
games room which makes for the perfect place for
live music.
As the barn forms an integral part of the cottages courtyard
any party will need to be coordinated with any guests. Most reservations of the barn will normally require
the reservation of the cottages as well.
