shop. Newtown is 3 miles away and has a number of restaurants
and pubs as well as several supermarkets and general shops
Food shopping
There is a
post office shop
in the village for day to day essentials. The shop is open from
7am most days and has daily deliveries of bread and dairy
products.

Restaurants and Pubs
 The Kerry Lamb
Traditional village pub with restaurant, lounge and beer
garden. The bar offers guest ales from local breweries while
the restaurant is an
ideal place to relax and enjoy locally produced good food in a
warm and friendly atmosphere. A pool table is in a room adjacent
to the bar.
For evening meals on Friday and Saturday it is advisable to
book in advance. A minibus is available from Kerry and taxis
from Newtown are also available.
 The Wagon and Horses
Outstanding pub restaurant and winner of Wales Chef of the
Year 2008 and 2009. Traditional pub with a contemporary
restaurant at the rear. Its a gem of a restaurant in the
heart of Montgomeryshire.
 Mirrens
Steak and Tapas Bar offers the ultimate cooking experience by
providing your meal served on lava stones, heated to 440 degrees
c. They also offer a tapas menu and their own thin crust pizzas
with a choice of BBQ or fresh tomato sauce. The restaurant is warm and inviting and outside there is a
terrace with twinkly lights.

great atmosphere. Excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere
